Splice Series 1 - The First Mix

Hand drawn in pen and ink then scanned and digitally "cleaned" and colored.

Named it "The First Mix" because it was the first experimental piece that serves as sort of a "prototype" for the rest of the series. The idea came to me during a college art class where we started off creating something like this, only the piece had to be cut apart and then the individual pieces were rearranged and glued on a separate canvas. That was heartbreaking because I liked the look so much.
